Off the Fence shops 300hrs around the world

Off the Fence has announced over 300 hours of program sales including a 50hr package to China, sales in the US and major western European countries.

In Europe, the privately owned factual producer and distributor has shopped 1x50mins Pirate Gold to Arte Germany. Also in Germany, NTV has acquired shows including the Man Made Marvels series and 1x50mins 42 Ways to Kill Hitler.

UK digital channel Eden has bought 1x52mins tiger doc Awesome Pawesome and elephant doc Nature’s Babies. France 3 has taken shows including 1x50mins Berlin Wall: Escape to Freedom. In Italy, public broadcaster Rai bought 12x22mins Up Close and Dangerous and 1x50mins Kalahari Trails.

In the US Discovery Science bought one-off docs China’s Raging Sands and Feast of Predators and the Smithsonian Network acquired 1x52mins South Sea Pearls.

Chinese distributor Royal Seal Media, which has a block on one of state broadcaster CCTV’s channels, has taken a 50hr package that included the 30-part Most Extreme series. OTF has just opened a distribution outlet in Asia and elsewhere in the region it has sold 1x50mins Locust Invasion and America’s Cutest Puppies to Japanese free-to-air broadcaster NTV.
