Disney rebranding CEE Jetix channels

Disney is rebranding a clutch of its wholly-owned Jetix channels in the Central and Eastern Europe region later this year.

Since taking control of the Jetix channels last year, Disney has started rebadging them Disney XD, its boy-skewed brand. But in this instance Jetix channels in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia will be revamoped and take on the Disney Channel brand.

Disney said the new-look channels will feature programming dubbed into local languages and reach a cumulative audience of 12 million. Disney Channel series, including Phineas and Ferb, started rolling out on the Jetix CEE channels last year.
