Kidsco launches first commission

Kidsco, the international children’s channel, has launched its first original commission, arts and craft series Jass Time!

The 10×1.5mins series was produced by UK indie markthree media and will air across the channel’s European, Russian, Middle Eastern, African and Asian networks.

The show features 19-year old Leicester presenter Jassa Ahluwalia who teaches kids how to make their own arts and craft projects such as hand puppets, tiger masks and jewellery.

Markthree media was set up in 2007 by former Granada exec Mark Murray and former BBC execs Kate Monaghan and Mark Allen. It has produced series including BBC One series You Can’t Fire Me… I’m Famous and Channel 4 documentary When The Drugs Don’t Work.

Kidsco was launched in September 2007 and is owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Entertainment and Corus Entertainment.
