ITV sells Britannia High w’wide

ITV Global Entertainment, the distribution arm of the British commercial broadcaster, has sold hit drama Britannia High to a raft of international broadcasters.

Australian commercial broadcaster Seven Network, HBO Latin America, the Middle East’s MBC and Nickelodeon Australia have all acquired the musical show.

The 9x1hour series, which was produced by ITV Productions and Universal Music-owned Globe Productions, follows the lives of a group of teenagers at a fictional theatre school. It includes music written by Take That’s Gary Barlow. 
The series also currently airs on Ireland’s TV3.
