Beat Your Host travels to Sweden

German gameshow Beat Your Host is launching in Sweden. A local version of the Raab TV and Brainpool-produced show – Vem kan slå Filip och Fredrik – will air on Kanal 5 where it will be the curtain raiser for the free-to-air channel’s new season.

Kanal 5 will put out a one-hour primetime show on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for three weeks.

In a crucial twist, the Swedish show will have two hosts to beat, local comedians and celebrity presenting duo Filip and Frederik.

The format is distributed by SevenOne International, which has sold it into twelve countries to date including the UK.
