TeamTO sets up shop in Valence to start work new toons

French animation producer TeamTO has set up a new division that will start work on a two new animated series this summer.

The new division will be based in Valence, France and start work on 26x13mins 3D series International Hareport in September. The show is being coproduced by Vivi Films and French broadcaster TF1 is on board. Cake Distribution will handle international sales.

The Valence division will also work on another 3D series How To Drive Everybody Crazy. Buyers got a sneak peak of the show at MIPCOM Junior last year, where it was one of the most-screened projects.

"Since that time, France 3 joined this project as coproducer and further discussions have been taking place with key broadcasters in Europe and beyond," says TeamTO founder Guillaume Hellouin. "We have a strong lead partner and are in advanced negotiations and leads from a multitude of territories."

TeamTO has also joined La Cartoucherie, the French animation collective founded by animation producers Folimage, animation film school based in Valence and La Poudrière and l’Equipée, the industry group that promotes French animated features.
