Sci Fi unleashes Legion of Fire

Sci Fi UK, the NBC Univeral-owned thematic channel, has commissioned its first exclusively online show Legion of Fire.

The 25-minute programme, which is a superhero themed mockumentary drama, will air via Sci Fi Play, the channel’s online broadband player. Produced by Tellyjuice, the show will feature actor Ron Moody and follow a band of London-based superhero enthusiasts as they battle with everyday problems and evil baddies.

Legion of Fire was commissioned by Ken Jones, branded content manager at Sci Fi UK. It is intended to take advantage of the popularity of Sci Fi series such as Heroes and Stan Lee’s reality programme Who Wants To Be A Superhero? both of which were on Sci Fi in the UK.
