Wild Things to roam in Cannes
Wacky UK gameshow Wild Things is set to hit the international market at MIPTV.
The physical competition show, in which people dressed in giant animal costumes with no eye holes attempt to win challenges in a woodland, makes up part of Zodiak Rights’ Cannes formats slate.
The comic show launched on Sky 1 in the UK, with Zodiak Media-owned IWC Media coproducing with Mad Monk and GroupM Entertainment.
Zodiak will also be at market with The Secret Lives of 4 Year Olds, which was a surprise ratings winner for UK broadcaster Channel 4 earlier this year, and has now been given a 7x60mins run.
The show follows in intimate detail the interactions of ten four-year-olds at a nursery, with a team of experts analysis the psychology neuroscience behind them.
Elsewhere, Swedish series The Detective, which Zodiak’s Jarowskij created for TV4, is a hard-hitting investigation format in which a former FBI agent uses his expertise to solve cold cases, and ultimately help police make new arrests.
East Well For Less is an RDF Television format in which experts are tasked with proving families can eat well while spending less on their shopping.
