News brief: Waybuloo scores Taiwanese deal

Zodiak Kids’ preschool series Waybuloo has found carriage on a Taiwanese broadcaster.

The 50x19mins show will launch on kids platform YoYo following a deal brokered by BBC Worldwide, which reps it in Taiwan and China.

The show comes from Zodiak-owned prodco The Foundation and currently comprises an overall 150 episodes. A new 50 episodes season was recently completed.

“Waybuloo continues to sell to leading broadcasters around the world and is still making its debut in new territories,” said Karen Vermeulen, senior VP, global sales and coproduction, Zodiak Kids.
