FilmRise elevates Johnny Holden to chief strategy officer

US studio & streamer FilmRise has promoted Johnny Holden to the newly created position of chief strategy officer.

Holden, who previously served as CFO at the New York-based company, will continue to oversee all financial operations while now additionally working closely with FilmRise CEO Danny Fisher to grow the company’s streaming presence.

Holden joined FilmRise as CFO in 2020, during which time he has worked with the company to grow its FAST and AVOD business.

Prior to FilmRise, he was CFO and VP of finance at Vice TV.

Fisher commented:  “We are confident that Johnny’s ongoing strategic initiatives will continue to bolster the company as a dominant player in the AVOD/FAST space worldwide.”
