A+E recruits Goalpost & ex-Screen Queensland chief Kylie Munnich for UK & Ireland sales

A+E Media Group in the US has appointed Goalpost Pictures chief and former Screen Queensland CEO Kylie Munnich as VP of content sales in the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to Patrick Vien, group managing director for A+E International, Munnich will oversee content sales for the A+E Networks catalog in these countries.

Munnich joins from Goalpost Pictures, the Australian producer of Stan crime drama Black Snow and Prime Video Australia original movie Five Blind Dates, where she served as CEO since 2022.

Prior to Goalpost, Munnich was CEO of state-owned investment agency Screen Queensland, and has also previously held roles including as SVP of distribution for the UK, Ireland & Africa at Sony Pictures Television. She also managed distribution for the studio in Australia and New Zealand for several years.

Other sales roles included Seven Studios and Sonar Entertainment in Australia and before that, she was director of drama & comedy at Sky Vision (now Sky Studios); director for Asia Pacific at MGM International Television Distribution; and international sales manager at Filmbank Distributors.
