APC Studios recruits Animaj’s Julie Mateille to head international sales

Producer-distributor APC Studios has hired Animaj exec Julie Mateille as its head of international sales.

Mateille will oversee both the APC and APC Kids sales teams, reporting to joint CEOs Emmanuelle Guilbart and Laurent Boissel for the former and MD Lionel Marty for the latter.

She arrives at Obituary firm APC Studios from Paris-based Animaj, where she most recently served as director of content distribution and partnership.

Prior to that she held positions including senior manager of international sales and acquisition at Mediawan Kids & Family, and sales manager & kids content acquisition at Lagardère.

She has also held roles at All3Media International and ViacomCBS.

“Julie has an incredible track record in global sales, having worked with some of the leading distributors in London and Paris. We are thrilled that she is joining both the APC and APC Kids sales teams as we start to roll out new titles across scripted unscripted and kids at the upcoming MIPTV,” said Guilbart and Boissel.
