Tiger Aspect hires BBC Studios’ Tom Jordan for comedy

Banijay UK label Tiger Aspect has hired BBC Studios’ Tom Jordan as creative director of comedy.

Jordan has spent the last three years at BBC Studios producing shows including Here We Go and Warren. He was previously at Hat Trick, where his credits included Have I Got News For You.

Reporting to MD Lucy Bedford, Jordan will join Tiger Aspect in late April, following the exit of David Simpson earlier this year.

Tiger Aspect is behind comedies including Man Like Mobeen, Please Help and Bad Education for BBC3 and shorts Mobility and Where It Ends. Its scripted output also included crime drama Peaky Blinders for BBC2.

Bedford said that Jordan’s “energy, ambition and natural affinity with talent make him the perfect person to build on Tiger’s exceptional heritage in this space.”
