Stars Collective picks up rights to ‘Leigh Howard & The Ghosts Of Simmons-Pierce Manor’
US-based Stars Collective has optioned the TV and film rights to Shawn M Warner’s YA novel Leigh Howard And The Ghosts Of Simmons-Pierce Manor.
Published by Black Rose Writing in 2022, the novel went viral last year thanks to a TikTok video that propelled it to the top of the Amazon Books list.
The story follows a teenage girl who teams up with a ghost with multiple personalities to solve the mystery of her parents’ murder.
Founded in 2020 by Peter Luo, Stars Collective aims to push “the boundaries of storytelling through the integration of breakthrough technologies.” The company also aims to promote the next generation of diverse voices and creative storytellers.
