TAICCA & CNC announce spy drama & MH370 project under scripted partnership

During Series Mania, Cinéfrance & Yousonn Entertainment joined forces for the co-production project ‘Fly’

Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and France’s Centre National du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) have announced two scripted co-productions: spy drama Fly and Flight MH370, about the real-life disappearance of the Malaysian airplane.

Fly will be co-produced by CinéFrance and Yoosonn Entertainment, with support from TAICCA and will be shot in France and Taiwan. Meanwhile, Flight MH370 will be directed by Gilles Bannier (Blue Lights) and led by France’s Alef One, which is currently seeking a Taiwanese co-pro partner.

The shows, which were announced at Series Mania in Lille this week, come after TAICCA and CNC signed a memorandum of understanding in November. Earlier this year, TAICCA expanded the Taiwan’s International Co-funding Programme (TICP) to create further collaboration with the global industry.
