NATPE Budapest hails “unprecedented buyer turnout” ahead of June market
NATPE Budapest has confirmed close to 60 exhibitors and more than 200 buyers from more than 40 countries will be attending the market this June.
Firms including A+E Media Group, BBC Studios, NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Sony Pictures Television, TelevisaUnivision and Warner Bros. International Television Production have already signed up, with organisers calling it an “unprecedented buyer turnout.”
NATPE Budapest is taking place from 24–27 June at the InterContinental Budapest Hotel.
Claire Macdonald, executive director of the market, said that the turnout “underscores the confidence and enthusiasm for the market’s return.”
She added: “As CEE’s most established and influential market and forum for the entertainment sector, it’s vital that we address the trends and issues specific to the region… we intend to deliver content that is both pertinent and pragmatic.”
