Argonon has hired former ITV exec Lindsay Goyette-Burke to a newly created role overseeing talent in the US.

Goyette-Burke becomes head of talent & casting for Argonon USA and will work on shows for Argonon-owned Rose Rock Entertainment and Leopard USA.

She reports into Argonon USA CEO Joe Weinstock.

Goyette-Burke previously worked as director of casting for ITV Studios, with credits on History Channel’s Forged In Fire and American Restoration, as well as Netflix’s Queer Eye.

She will continue to oversee the casting department for House Hunters International, which is produced by Leopard USA for HGTV.

Argonon has been expanding its US team over the past year, hiring Darryl Cordova to oversee development at Rose Rock and promoting Travis Schoen to become VP of production & development at the prodco.

Former Rose Rock chief Weinstock was named CEO of Argonon USA in October, with the group behind shows including Last Chance Garage for Motor Trend and an extended order for House Hunters International.

In a joint statement, Weinstock and COO Steven McGovern wrote that the appointment would “further expand our US senior team, supporting our plans for rapid growth.”

James Burstall, Argonon’s global CEO and executive chair at Argonon USA, added that he had been “encouraged” by recent meetings with networks and streamers seeking new content for 2024 and beyond.
