Apple TV+ makes calculated gamble on thriller ‘Prime Target’ from ‘Vienna Blood’s Steve Thompson

Apple TV+ has ordered conspiracy thriller Prime Target, which has been created by Vienna Blood‘s Steve Thompson.

The 8 x 60-minute show features a brilliant young math postgraduate on the verge of a major breakthrough who realises that an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born.

After meeting a female security agent who has been tasked with watching and reporting on the mathematician’s behavior, the duo start to unravel the troubling conspiracy.

Leo Woodall (The White Lotus) and Quintessa Swindell (In Treatment) star, with Thompson exec producing. New Regency is producing with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions and Brady Hood (Top Boy) is directing.

Former Scott Free UK exec Ed Rubin exec produces for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan and Michael Schaefer.
