‘Theodosia’ firm Cottonwood Media recruits head of fiction for primetime & YA push
French Theodosia prodco Cottonwood Media has appointed Manon Ardisson to the newly created role of head of fiction.
Based out of the Paris office, and taking up the role with immediate effect, Ardisson will report to co-founders David Michel, Cécile Laurenson, and Zoé Carrera Allaix, and will cover all aspects of fiction production, from development through to filming and post.
She will also be responsible for hiring the respective creative teams at each stage of the production process.
The company, which is also behind Find Me In Paris and Spellbound, sajd that the hire marks a new focus on primetime and YA scripted content.
Ardisson is an experienced indie producer having worked on the feature film God’s Own Country and co-produced the Venezuelan films La Soledad and La Fortaleza, as well as the documentary El Father Plays Himself.
“Live-action has been an incredible growth area for us, and for a while now we have been considering the primetime and YA space,” said David Michel, president and co-founder of Cottonwood Media. “Manon has a great track record for working on some incredible films, and we feel she will greatly contribute to the augmentation of our premium live-action slate for the global marketplace over the coming years.”
