Fox Entertainment Global adds Paramount, Beyond & Fremantle alums for new-look senior sales team

Fox Entertainment Global (FEG) has unveiled a new-look senior content sales team ahead of London Screenings later this month.

The worldwide sales division of Fox Entertainment has hired three new execs to oversee distribution of its IP and third-party content in the US, Lat Am, EMEA, Australia & New Zealand & APAC.

Joining the team are Simona Argenti as SVP, content sales, EMEA; Nathalie Wogue, SVP, global formats; and Roxanne Likely, senior director, content sales, US & Lat Am.

Argenti will be based in London, alongside David Smith, FEG’s EVP of content sales and partnerships, while Wogue and Likely will operate out of FEG’s Los Angeles headquarters.

They join FEG’s current sales executives Jody Cipriano, VP, sales, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand; Andy Whiteman, sales consultant, and Brook Peters, SVP, Neshama Releasing, which oversees the distribution of FEG titles in Canada.

FEG will be heading to London Screenings this month with a slate that includes adult animation Krapopolis and recently renewed comedy Animal Control, as well as unscripted titles such as Next Level Chef, I Can Hear Your Voice and Snake Oil.

“As FEG grows its portfolio of titles and formats worldwide, we now have our full senior leadership team in place to ensure that content reaches global buyers and audiences everywhere,” said Smyth.

Argenti’s hire reunites her with Smyth, having served under him as head of sales at Beyond Rights, following its merger with her former company TCB Media Rights.

She most recently worked at tech firm Salesforce, supporting broadcasters including BBC, ITV and Channel 4 with their digital transformation plans, and has also served as a scripted and digital sales executive at BBC Studios.

Wogue takes on a full time role having already been consulting as an international format strategist for Fox’s in-house unscripted studio Fox Alternative Entertainment, working on the studio’s International Unscripted Format Fund and helping develop such formats as Beat My Mini-Mes for France’s TF1, Marriage Market for Germany’s ProSieben and Celebrity Masterpiece for Thailand’s Workpoint.

She has previously served as a journalist, independent producer, head of development at Fremantle France, global VP of formats at IMG Entertainment, chief international officer at Endemol France and president of a joint venture between Endemol and Mark Burnett Productions.

Likely joins FEG from Paramount, where she has spent the past three years as director of , content acquisitions, in which position she has been acquiring programming for 15 Paramount-owned platforms and channels.

Prior to that, she spent nearly nine years at Miramax Films, first in a worldwide sales strategy role and then sales for the US, Canada and Latin American sales.
