Paramount-owned Chilevisión has ordered a local version of Got Talent, two years after the latest reboot aired on rival Mega.

The Syco Entertainment and Fremantle format will be hosted by Julián Elfenbein and follows the search for talented individuals who aim to impress judges in disciplines such as dance, singing and comedy.

It most recently aired on Chilevisión between 2010 and 2015, before being remade for Mega in 2021, running for a single season.

Chilevisión has previously remade talent formats including The Voice Chile, Yo Soy, El Elegido and Fiebre de Baile.

Sheila Aguirre, EVP of co-production & distribution in Lat Am for Fremantle, said: “This iconic format has left an indelible mark in the global entertainment landscape, and we are excited to be a part of its return to Chile.”

The show was created by Simon Cowell and is co-owned by Syco Entertainment and Fremantle. It has been broadcast in 194 countries, with original versions in 75 countries.
