Mediaset España extends Turkish drama with Calinos series ‘Farah’

Mediaset España is expanding its Turkish drama offering with the acquisition of Farah.

The show, which is sold by Calinos Entertainment and produced by O3 Medya, tells the story of an Iranian refugee who finds herself in the middle of a mafia-police war and an unpredictable love affair with the man tasked with hunting her down.

The second season is debuting on Fox in Turkey and stars Engin Akyurek and Demet Ozdemir.

It sold to more than 30 countries across CEE and MENA in 2023, most recently debuting on Tring TV in Albania at the start of the month.
