Mediaset España & Chile’s Canal 13 buy Vix drama ‘Ellas Soy Yo’

Mediaset España and Canal 13 in Chile have picked up Ellas Soy Yo, the biographical series about Gloria Trevi that debuted on TelevisaUnivision’s streamer Vix.

Ellas Soy Yo, which is available on Mediaset’s streaming platform Mitele Plus, has been produced by Carla Estrada and tells the story of Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruíz, a 15-year-old girl who travels from Monterrey to Mexico City to participate in a television contest that seeks to find the double of a famous young actress.

The show explores how she meets a man twice her age who becomes her mentor and then her predator, dictating her life for almost two decades.

Ellas Soy Yo was written by Eric Vonn, Lele Portas, Marco Tulio Socorro and Carla Estrada, with Scarlet Gruber, Ingrid Martz, Lessy Hernández, Regina Villaverde and Jorge Poza among cast.
