Netflix’s VP of unscripted exits

Netflix’s VP of unscripted series Jenn Levy is leaving the streamer today.

The exec, who has been behind shows including Queer Eye and Is It Cake, joined in 2017 having previously been director of unscripted originals at Bravo.

She joined following Brandon Riegg’s appointment in 2016, with her exit seven years later coming after the streamer hired Sahara Bushue as a director of unscripted. Deadline broke the news.

Disney names production head

Disney Entertainment Television has named Carol Turner as its head of production.

Turner was previously EVP of production & post-production at sibling ABC Signature, but had held the head of production position on an interim for almost a year.

That move is now permanent, with a remit across production for divisions including 20th Television, FX Productions and ABC Signature, as well as Disney+ and Hulu.

Sony Lat Am departure

Ana Bond, Sony Pictures Television’s production boss for Latin America, is to depart the company in May.

Bond joined the company from W Studios in 2018 initially as SVP & MD of international production, replacing Angelica Guerra. Her next move is not yet known. C21 broke the news of Bond’s imminent exit.
