Banijay hires All3Media alum Hannah Griffiths as head of adaptations
Banijay has hired All3Media alum Hannah Griffiths as its first head of adaptations.
Griffiths is tasked with finding IP across all mediums that the production-distribution giant’s scripted labels can adapt and joins having been the first head of literary acquisitions at All3, which she joined in 2016.
Before that she worked for companies including Faber And Faber.
She reports into Banijay’s UK chief Patrick Holland, who has been expanding its scripted interests over the past 18 months, hiring former Netflix exec Chris Sussman last year to develop projects as part of its £50m ($60m) Growth Fund.
The scheme aims to fuel growth in scripted, reality, docs and fact ent, and came ahead of deals including the acquisition of Help producer The Forge in November, taking the total number of Banijay’s UK scripted firms to nine. Deadline broke news of Griffiths hire.
