Round-up: GRB unveils deals ahead of NATPE; ‘Beep And Mort’ go global
GRB unveils NATPE deals
Discovery in Spain has extended its deal for five seasons of Untold Stories Of The ER, ahead of NATPE Global which starts today in Miami.
The medical docuseries re-enacts real-life stories of the emergency room and is among a raft of deals for GRB Media Ranch.
The company has also sold Death Walker to Discovery UK and France’s Canal+, with the paranormal investigative series exploring the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in America.
Beep And Mort go global
Broadcasters in Canada, the UK, the Middle East and North Africa have picked up Beep And Mort from Australia’s ABC Commercial.
Both seasons have already been acquired by WildBrain Television for Canada on its kids network Family Jr, while its second run will now also air on Sky Kids in the UK.
A further deal has been agreed with beIN Media Group in Qatar, which will see the show become available to kids and families throughout the Middle East and North Africa via its NEO channel.
Thew show debuted on ABC Kids in Australia in October 2022 and follows best friends Beep, a robot from the stars, and Mort, a cuddly creature from village of Mollyvale. It is produced by Windmill Pictures and directed by Rosemary Myers.
