SideXSide appoints Electus Int’l & Propagate alum Max Richards to lead business development

Factual producer SideXSide Studios has hired former Electus International exec Max Richards.

Richard becomes director of business development for the company and joins having had spells at Electus, Propagate Content and Deep Sky.

During those stints he developed and represented TV shows, films and live sports events through content distribution and international co-productions.

SideXSide was behind 2018 documentary TransMilitary and more recently produced the documentary short Finding Us, which will premiere on PBS’s Reel South this spring.

The company, founded by Gabe Silverman and Jamie Coughlin Silverman, is also in post on forthcoming feature film Spies Among Us.

“Human-led stories are extremely important to tell at this point in time. I’m thrilled to join the team at SideXSide and create more opportunities for the studio to tell these engaging and impactful stories,” Richards said.
