CPL Productions alum Jack Shillaker joins Ant & Dec’s’s Mitre Studios as creative chief

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s Mitre Studios has named former CPL Productions exec Jack Shillaker as its creative director of television.

Shillaker takes up his role this month and will oversee format creation, while also exec producing across Mitre Studios’ broadcast output.

Prior to joining Mitre, Shillaker worked at CPL on shows including Sky’s A League of Their Own and Rob And Romesh Vs, which he created.

Mitre was founded by I’m A Celebrity… hosts McPartlin and Donnelly in 2011. Its credits include DNA Journey, Limitless Win, In For A Penny, I’m A Celebrity South Africa and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Mitre’s MD, Ed Sleeman, said: “This hire underscores our commitment to developing and wholly producing ambitious high quality global formats for both broadcasters and streamers alike. We eagerly anticipate the impactful contributions he will make to the growth of Mitre Studios.”
