Luis Fernández replaces Beau Ferrari as CEO of Telemundo
Luis Fernández is returning to Telemundo as CEO of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, replacing Beau Ferrari.
Ferrari, who has promoted to chairman of Telemundo three years ago, is to become a senior advisor to Cesar Conde, who oversees both NBC News Group and Telemundo, and to whom Fernández will also report.
Fernández previously served as president of Telemundo’s news division from 2015 until 2021, when he retired from the company.
Before joining Telemundo, Fernández was CEO of Spanish public broadcaster RTVE also served as president of Univision Entertainment and Univision Studios.
He was also the international CEO of Real Madrid and held senior roles at Canal +, Telecinco and Cadena SER.
“Throughout his extraordinary career, Luis has time and again shown visionary leadership, building and growing the most successful Spanish language media organizations in the United States and overseas,” said Conde.
