Thunderbird Distribution picks up rights to Sky Kids series ‘BooSnoo!’

Thunderbird Distribution has picked up rights to Sky Kids series, BooSnoo!.

The 41 x seven-minute series is co-produced by Julian Bashford’s UK-based Visionality and Mackinnon & Saunders.

The mixed-media show was created by Bashford, who drew on his experiences of being a parent in a family with autism and the toys and methods that worked to calm and entertain his first son.

The live-action/CG/stop-motion, dialogue-free series encourages both neurodiverse and neurotypical kids ages two and up to sit back and follow the featured little red ball as it leads an exploration of fantastic landscapes, machines and rooms.

The show debuted in early 2023 on Sky Kids in the UK and has since received a greenlight for a second 21-episode season.

Thunderbird has taken global media rights (excluding the UK) and consumer products rights.
