France’s M6 & TVA in Quebec prep Céline Dion show, Amuz snags int’l sales rights

M6 Group in France and TVA in Quebec are preparing to air a tribute event to singer Céline Dion next month, with Amuz Distribution snagging sales rights.

Pour Toi Céline – Tribute To The Album D’Eux is described as a “celebration of the highest selling French-language album in music history” that featured Dion and was created by Jean-Jacques Goldman.

The show will be recorded on the Agora stage in the Port of Quebec on 3 September, featuring artists and personalities from around the world who were influenced, and inspired by, the album.

The event will feature performers including Isabelle Boulay, Corneille, Roch Voisine, Véronic DiCaire, Mario Pelchat and Bruno Pelletier, Camille Lellouche, Amir, Christophe Willem, Élodie Frégé, Anggun, Chimène Badi, Vincent Niclo, Axelle Red, Ycare and Anne Sila.

Amuz Distribution also holds international distribution rights for Céline Dion’s Une Seule Fois, recorded on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec in 2013.
