Polsat, AMCNI & FTV Prima buy Blue Ant shows as NATPE Budapest enters second day
Polish broadcaster Polsat, AMC Networks International and the Czech Republic’s FTV Prima have picked up shows from Blue Ant International as the second day of NATPE Budapest gets underway.
Telewizija Polsat & TV Spektrum has picked up shows including Ice Age: A Frozen World that unravels the hidden secrets of the Ice Age and how it created the world we now live in, while Canal+ Polska will air Pride And Prostitution, which focuses on the lucrative business of sex during the openly promiscuous era of Georgian Britain.
Across Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, AMC Networks International CNE will air series including Greatest Discoveries With Dan Snow and 9/11 Kids, the Saloon Media doc that explores the lives of the students who were reading with George W. Bush when a plane hit the second tower of the World Trade Center.
FTV Prima has agreed deals for shows for its documentary channel Prima Zoom, including Ancient Earth: Dinosaurs Of The Frozen Continent and Last Day Of The Dinosaurs, while Blue Ant has also sold The Queen’s Coronation In Colour to TVR in Romania.
AMong a raft of other deals, Estonian pubcaster ERR has bought Citizen’s At War, A Year In The Ukraine; Romania’s RCS & RDS will offer their audiences shows including Silver Spitfire: The Longest Flight; and Romania’s Prima TV has picked up: Return To Downton.
