Nordic’s Monday Media acquires ‘Sirius’ prodco Impact TV

Nordic production group Monday Media has acquired Danish unscripted firm Impact TV, following its bankruptcy filing last month.

Monday Media will now take on much of Impact TV’s slate and bring aboard some of its staff into a new production company with the very slightly different name of ImpactTV, with founder and MD Thomas Heurlin remaining as head of development.

The firm, which is behind documentaries such as Sirius and Hells Angels – Storhed Og Fald, will now form part of a 12-strong portfolio of labels in Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands for Monday Media.

In April, Heurlin said that the company had faced unexpected costs and complications due to the Covid-19 pandemic, including delayed and cancelled productions.

Martin Dalgaard, CEO of Monday Media, praised Heurlin asone of the best TV creators in the country with a special eye for cutting-edge shows.”

It also operates Feelgood Istage, a production house for live comedy and management, based out of Norway.
