France’s Histoire, Mexico’s TV Unam & Atresmedia in Spain strike MIPTV deals with ORF

Histoire and KTO in France, as well as TV Unam in Mexico and Atresmedia in Spain, are among companies to have struck deals with Austria’s ORF Enterprises at MIPTV last week.

Histoire has landed Lost City Of The Gladiators, the two-parter The Great Wall, as well as history documentary Victims Of The Vikings, while fellow French broadcaster KTO has added four titles, including Christmas In Vienna and Sister Mary From Nairobi.

Other deals saw France’s Ushuaia acquire two documentaries – When The Water Rises and Tropics, Frost & Perpetual Ice – while TG4 in Ireland has taken Life On The Wing – Miracle Of Bird Migration and Italy’s Rai has snagged shows from ORF’s Universum History docs strand, including The Nero Files – Uncovering an Ancient Conspiracy.

TV Unam in Mexico has also taken a doc from the Universum History slate, with The Builders of the Alhambra, and Atresmedia in Spain has picked up the 13th and 15th seasons of Soko Kitzbuehel.
