Fremantle CEO Jennifer Mullin is among a flurry of speakers who have been confirmed for the Banff World Media Festival, which takes place in the Canadian Rockies in June.

Mullin will keynote at the event’s Summit Series line-up, which also includes CBS president George Cheeks, while actress, producer, creator and author Lilly Singh (Dollface) is to take part at an ‘In Conversation With’ session at the 44th edition of the event.

World of Wonder co-founders and RuPaul’s Drag Race exec producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato will also take to the stage for an ‘In Conversation’ panel, where they will discuss shows including The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Party Monster and being behind streaming service WOW Presents Plus.

“Each of these incredible individuals have changed the face of the industry in unique and important ways,” said Jenn Kuzmyk, executive director of Banff.

“They have changed minds and opened hearts and continue to demonstrate that beauty is about authenticity and joy, that love conquers hate, and that despite horrific efforts to the contrary in many places around the globe, the civil rights and human rights of the LGBTQ+ community must be protected,” she added.

Banff takes place in-person 11-14 June at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta, Canada. Delegates from more than 50 countries are expected, including creators, producers, showrunners and talent, as well as execs from networks, studios and streamers.
