Netflix apologises as ‘Love Is Blind’ live reunion show fails to stream

Love Is Blind

Netflix has apologised after a special reunion episode of Love Is Blind that had been due to stream live yesterday failed.

Love Is Blind: The Live Reunion had been scheduled to go live on Sunday at 20.00 ET, with viewers able to click a ‘Watch Live’ button ten minutes before.

However, the live stream did not materialise for most viewers and after multiple attempts to get the show back on track, Netflix said it would be taping the programme instead.

“To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love Is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned,” the streamer said on Twitter.

“We’re filming it now and we’ll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry”

Love Is Blind: The Live Reunion was being produced by Embassy Row and had been due to feature couples and singletons discussing the fourth season’s action. Kinetic Content produces the original series.

The reunion special was due to be the second live-event production for Netflix, which debuted Chris Rock: Selective Outrage on 4 March.
