Eva Longoria partners with Mediawan, Elefantec Global for Spanish-language ‘Call My Agent!’ remake

France’s Mediawan, Elefantec Global and Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment have partnered to co-produce a Spanish-language version of French comedy-drama Call My Agent!

Longoria will produce the series through her shingle, as well as direct the first two episodes.

The original version of Call My Agent! (aka Dix Pour Cent) is set in the world of celebrity talent agents at a Paris agency.

Produced by Mediawan label Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Production, the series debuted on France Télévisions and found global popularity after being picked up by Netflix.

The scripted format has already been adapted for several other territories, including the UK, India, Turkey and Italy.

“Like so many people around the globe, I’ve been a huge fan of the original series since it first premiered,” said Longoria.

“I’m so excited to partner with Mediawan and Elefantec Global to bring one of the greatest properties that gives a witty and satirical look behind the curtain of the entertainment industry for the Spanish-speaking American market.”
