TV4 Sweden, MTV Finland among buyers of Paramount+ Italian drama ‘Corpo Libero’

TV4 in Sweden and MTV in Finland are among buyers of Paramount+ Italian drama Corpo Libero (aka The Gymnasts).

The series is based on Ilaria Bernardini’s novel Corpo Libero/The Girls Are Good and centers on a team of elite teenage athletes as they compete at an international tournament high up in the snowy, atmospheric Italian mountains. A murder then throws plans into disarray.

It is produced by Indigo Film in co-production with Germany’s Network Movie (ZDF Neo), and in collaboration with Rai Fiction and Paramount+ in Italy. The series is directed by Cosima Spender.

The show has also been picked up in New Zealand on Paramount+, and while Cosmote in Greece join MTV in Finland and TV4. The drama has already been picked up Paramount+ in Australia, South Korea, Canada and the UK.
