Xilam Animation names new CCO & Cube Creative GM in restructure

Oggy

Xilam Animation, the French animation indie behind the Oggy franchise, has made several promotions – including Caterina Gonnelli-Linden to chief content officer and Cécile Hergaux-Essame to general manager of subsidiary, Cube Creative – in a departmental restructure.

Hergaux-Essame’s promotion follows the departure of Cube founders Lionel Fages and Majid Loukil, with the exec now taking oversight of current productions and developing new properties for the company, as well as securing premium projects from third parties.

She will report into Marc du Pontavice, president of Xilam and Cube Creative, having previously served as production manager at Cube Creative for six years, before her promotion to head of Xilam Group’s studios a year ago.

Gonnelli-Linden, meanwhile. takes on the role of chief content officer for a newly created content division for Xilam’s studio, which will bring together several departments: literary development, graphic development and the management of editorial supervisors.

She will be responsible for sourcing all of Xilam Group’s content, including editorial supervision of both development and production, and will be the first point of contact for the group’s clients across these services. She also reports into du Pontavice.

Guillaume Jallot has also been promoted to the group’s chief technical officer to lead a newly formed department, which brings together the R&D, IT and technical departments.
