‘Leverage: Redemption’ firm Electric Entertainment expands production arm
Electric Entertainment, the LA-based firm behind The Ark and Leverage: Redemption, is expanding its production arm with the promotion of Mark Franco to head of production and new appointments to the team.
Franco joined Electric Entertainment in 2004 to work on its maiden project The Librarians as VFX supervisor & producer. In his new role, he will oversee production on all projects, focused on the workflow and processes from camera through to post production.
The 30-year visual and special effects veteran has worked on feature titles including Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Armageddon, The Patriot, Vanilla Sky and Batman Forever.
Joining Electric’s production team is Brandon W. Lambdin as VP of physical production. In this newly created position, he will handle all aspects of production, budgeting and scheduling for Electric’s TV and film projects.
Lambdin has previously worked with Electric Entertainment in roles including line producer on Leverage: Redemption and The Librarians, assistant director on Geostorm and executive producer and unit production manager on Bad Samaritan.
Cynthia Hajj has meanwhile been promoted to production executive. Prior to joining Electric, she was co-creator of Homage Arts and Production, a boutique production company, where she produced short-form content for clients including Warner, Island Def Jam, RCA, Bicycle Music Group, and Interscope. Hajj also served as co-producer of season two of Leverage: Redemption.
Erica Small has also been appointed as senior counsel of business & legal affairs, joining Electric from Skybound, and holding previous roles at Marvel Television and Shegerian & Associates.
Lambdin and Hajj will report directly to Franco, who will in turn report directly to CEO Dean Devlin.
