Sky orders Gary Neville & Jamie Carragher football show, pilots Talkback quizzer

Sky Max is extending its originals slate with a series following football pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, as well as a new comedy quiz show that tests contemporary culture.

Gary Neville’s The Overlap On Tour (w/t) follows Neville, Carragher and Roy Keane as they travel to different cities in Britain and Ireland as part of The Overlap Live Arena Tour.

The show is being produced by the UK’s Buzz 16 and will follow the pundits as they stop at iconic tourist attractions and explore grassroots clubs.

Sky Max has also greenlit a pilot for On Demand (w/t), from Fremantle-owned Talkback. The show follows two teams of comedians as they put their cultural knowledge of TV to the test.

The NBCUniversal-owned network has also extended CPL’s travelogue Rob & Romesh Vs into a fifth season, while gameshow A League Of Their Own has received an 18th season order, along with a Southeast Asian Road Trip spin-off.

The orders come a day after Sky revealed its latest factual push, with 12 new shows on the slate.
