Lionsgate, SPT & Newen join The London TV Screenings

Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Television, Newen Connect, Eccho Rights and Viaplay Content Distribution are among new additions to the schedule for The London TV Screenings, which takes place 27 February to 3 March.

The five companies take the total number of hosts to 26, with each carving out time in the calendar to deliver a mixture of scripted, non-scripted and format buyers events.

The week-long London TV Screenings – organised by All3Media International, Banijay Rights, Entertainment One, Fremantle and ITV Studios – is this year to be held over the same week as BBC Studios’ flagship market, with its Showcase taking place also in London on 27 and 28 February.

A London TV Screenings spokesperson said: “For the 2023 edition of The London TV Screenings, our biggest yet, the group has come together like never before to curate all of the content and buyer events across the week.

“We’ve worked hard to minimise clashes and maximise the experience for clients, many of whom are sending multiple buyers, to make it a truly must-attend event in the annual calendar.”

The first in-person London TV Screenings was held in February 2022 and was attended by more than 500 international buyers.

Participants for 2023’s event include: Abacus Media Rights, About Premium Content, Blue Ant Media, Bossanova Media, Cineflix Rights, DCD Rights, Fifth Season, Hat Trick International, Keshet International, NBCUniversalFormats, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Passion Distribution, Red Arrow Studios International, StudioCanal, TVF International and Warner Bros. International Television Production.
