Campanario hires KMZ founder to head Lat Am physical production

LA-based Latin-focused prodco Campanario Entertainment has appointed Tita Lombardo as director of physical production in Latin America.

Working out of the company’s Mexico City office, Lombardo will head up all production operations in the region, overseeing and producing multiple TV series and films. She will work closely with Diana Mejia-Jones, Campanario’s VP of Spanish-language content and brand integration.

A veteran producer with more than 40 years in the industry, Lombardo comes to Campanario from KMZ Producciones, which she launched in Mexico City more than 17 years ago. Her past credits include the feature films Babel and Amores Perros. and TV projects including The Most Beautiful Flower for Netflix; Camelia La Texana for Telemundo; and Surviving Single for Amazon Prime.

Campanario, meanwhile is behind projects including Netflix original Selena: The Series, Mexican Amazon Prime comedy How To Survive Soltero and Bravo’s Mexican Dynasties.
