MGM rolls out streamer in Brazil via Amazon

US studio Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM)’s streaming service has launched on Amazon Prime Video Channels in Brazil.

Prime Video will carry the channel as part of its R$14.90 (US$2.79) per month subscription.

Viewers will have access to blockbuster films including the Rocky and Creed franchises, comedy hits like 21 & 22 Jump Street, and a wide range of film and TV titles from the studio’s library.

The Brazil roll out marks the expansion of the MGM on-demand streaming service after it launched in Mexico in 2019.

Its streaming service is now available on Amazon Prime Video Channels in the UK, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Earlier this year, the Fargo studio hired Rola Bauer as its president of international TV productions, reporting into MGM TV chairman Mark Burnett.
