Canal+ drama Belfer tops Polish demand list

Scripted-logo-460_2A local Canal+ drama is the most in-demand series in Poland, according to exclusive new stats.

Belfer took more than 1.3 million more average demand expressions than the second-placed Pretty Little Liars last week, the latest TBI-Parrot Analytics In-demand charts reveal.

The seriesis a crime drama for pay TV operator Canal+.

Its 6.45 million demands were ahead of Pretty Little Liars’ 5.14 million, Game of Thrones’ 4.78 million and The Walking Dead’s 4.22 million.

Another Polish series, Pakt, was fifth, and experimental Scandinavian teen drama Skam was seventh.

In Ukraine, Turkish historical drama Muhtesem Yüzyil: Kösem was the most in-demand series.

The telenovela, originally for Fox TV in Turkey, took 6.99 million average demands, was 13% ahead of Game of Thrones (6.19 million), and further in front of American Gods (4.2 million) and Shameless (4.15 million).

Parrot’s proprietary technology analyses billions of data points to generate a demand score, which indicates which series are currently popular in a specific territory.
