New location for MIPJunior

MIPJunior will relocate to from the Martinez this year, moving further up the Croisette. It will be in the J.W. Marriot as the Martinez undergoes renovations.

MIPJunior is one of the biggest kids markets in the world and takes place the weekend before MIPCOM, this year October 14-15.

Organisers Reed Midem said the venue change was for this year only and it will be back in the Martinez in 2018.

MIPDoc is already held in the Marriot, which has a theatre for conference sessions and big-screen premieres and will have a full screenings centre for the kids event.

With MIPJunior running ahead of MIPCOM later in the year and many kids buyers making the trip to Miami for Kidscreen, there will also be a new MIPJunior Kids Zone at MIPTV this year.
