Autentic to shop NZZ Format
Germany’s Autentic Distribution has assumed responsibility for the sale of magazine show NZZ Format.
The long-running 30-minute journalism series currently airs on France’s SFR and Central European pubcaster 3Sat.
It has been on air since 1993 as the TV programme of Swiss, German-language newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, reporting on cultural, social ad technological topics.
Autentic Distribution, a joint venture of Beta Group-owned Autentic and WDR Mediagroup, will now sell it on the international market.
“The topics and subjects dealt with by NZZ Format perfectly rounds out our portfolio,” said Anne Hufnagel, general manager of Autentic Distribution. “We are looking forward to the outstanding productions that will be granted to us by our colleagues in Zürich.”
“I believe that we have found the best partners in Autentic Distribution for the advertisement of our documentaries to an international audience,” said Silvia Fleck (pictured), head of NZZ Format’s editorial department. “Their ‘know-how’ will help us greatly to establish NZZ Format internationally as a brand for intelligent and ambitious TV documentaries.”
