Terranoa testing Superpowers in Cannes

French doc distributor Terranoa is launching a pop science show that puts superpowers to the test at MIPTV.

Five-part Superpowers: Boosting our Senses is being produced by French prodco Telecran for DTT channel RMC and Terranoa will be starting the presales drive at MIPTV ahead of delivery next February.

In each episode, cutting edge science is used to put legendary super heroes’ special powers to the test and to see if they have real-world applications.

Terranoa’s other MIPDOC offerings include TF1 VE feature doc Surrender  and Canal+ special The Hidden Face of the Moon. The latter has already been presold to broadcasters including Servus TV, MBC AL Arabya, NRK, SVT, Kultura, NC+ Poland.

The line-up is rounded off with wildlife one-off doc Freedom, Legend of the Eagles. The 90-minute film was made by Lato Sensu for French pay TV channel Ushuaia and launched last month as part of the channel’s tenth birthday programming.
