Finland’s YLE bringing World’s Strongest Victim to MIPDOC
The sales arm of Finnish pubcaster YLE is launching a slate of new docs at MIPDoc next week.
The line-up includes World’s Strongest Victim, which follows people who are speaking out about civilian casualties in the conflict in Gaza. The one-off HD special will launch at MIPDoc and MIPTV, where YLE shares a stand with its Scandinavian counterparts, SVT and DR.
YLE also has Trapped Between Syria and Europe, another one-off, about Syrian refugees in Europe.
Outside of social issues and politics, YLE has a new season of Seven Symphonies by Sibelius, featuring performances of works by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.
