Endemol Shine Group’s premium online channels arm, Endemol Beyond, is to showcase its programming to buyers for the first time next week at MIPTV.
Endemol Beyond will be on the Endemol Shine Group stand selling properties such as Michelle Phan (pictured) vehicle Icon, animated series Simon’s Cat, physical endurance show People Are Awesome and French comedy sketch show The Woop Gang.
Icon launched last week as an Endemol Beyond premium channel on various platforms, while the other titles have amassed large numbers of YouTube views.
Endemol Beyond will also be offering a digital format, Legends of Gaming. This sees new and established YouTube stars battling it out in a nationwide gaming tournament.
“Our presence at MIPTV 2015 is further evidence of how far Endemol Beyond has come since launching globally 18 months ago as well as how much the market for content originating from the digital video space has developed,” said Georg Ramme, managing director, Endemol Beyond International.
“With a diverse line up of formats that can be adapted in any market and a strong slate of finished programming, all of which can play on either traditional or online platforms, we are taking further steps to mirror the success of our established TV business.”
Endemol Beyond has hubs in US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil and the Netherlands, and claims to be the only PCN (premium content network) to have such reach.
Yesterday, Endemol Shine revealed its first slate since Endemol and Shine came together as one company.
